Course Description: Our 5-day Solar Bootcamp is designed for students that are new to the field of solar who want to earn the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Solar Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge. Students will learn the basics of photovoltaics and electricity, major solar array system components, and the principles of solar design.
Course Objectives:
1. Explain the basics of electricity 2. Understand series and parallel circuits 3. Know how to evaluate the solar resource 4. Determine how to properly size a solar PV array 5. Understand solar PV system wiring, components, and installation
